Kathleen K. Dong, Esq
NAMED "BEST DIVORCE LAWYERS IN SAN JOSE 2022" BY EXPERTISE.COM
Kathleen K. Dong is a practical, detail-oriented, compassionate, and client-focused family law attorney. From her honest initial client assessments to her persistence in getting to harmonious resolution, she expertly helps her clients end their relationship as peacefully and respectfully as possible, for the highest good of all involved.
“I don’t nurture fights,” Kathleen often states. “I advocate for long term co-functional parenting in support of healthy families.” Deftly navigating situations such as high-earner disputes, complex marital dissolution, and domestic violence cases, Kathleen seeks to focus on the victories, rather than on the losses. The colorful poster in her office of a petite Ruth Bader Ginsburg wearing boxing gloves speaks volumes about her values and leadership in the practice of family law.
Kathleen received her law degree from Lincoln Law School of San Jose with honors, and earned the Susan O. Fish award in 2016 for outstanding scholarship and significant contributions to the law school community. Mother to four adult daughters, she has a passion for childrens’ rights and fostering healthy families, and acts as minors’ counsel in the Family Court of Santa Clara County.
In her off-hours, Kathleen enjoys watching thriller/horror movies, playing with the family’s two cats and two dogs, and spending time with the love of her life, her husband of 28 years.
